This was a fabulous B&B to stay and in a great location. Our room, which was on the second floor had twelve foot ceilings and was very beautiful. The bed in our room was large and looked like some beds that I have seen in palaces (ask for the blue room at the top of the stairs). The breakfast had a wide variety of food and was very good. The owners were great. When we decided to change our travel plans they spent one and a half hours of thier evening calling friends who own other B&B's to find us two rooms in B&B's in our next two towns decided to stay in. The B&B's they made reservations at were very nice. We could not have asked for a better place to stay at.

I normally always find where to stay from Trip Advisor, however I was looking for a luxury four-poster bed type place in Kinsale and couldn't find anything listed. After a bit of Internet surfing, I found The Chart House on the AA website. Described as a Luxury Georgian Bed and Breakfast, it has 4 AA stars.

The Chart House's website gives photos of the rooms which are very accurate. I found the rooms excellent, and the Jacuzzi bath was great too.

The guesthouse host was very helpful and informative, giving us a map of all the places to visit in Kinsale.

For breakfast we had porridge with Irish Mist Liqueur (yum) and a choice of cooked breakfasts.

The price (€70 per person per night) was higher than I normally pay, but the rooms were very large and well decorated, so I feel that the increased price was justified. I would recommend here.
