We arrived late afternoon & were greeted by the lovely owner, Noreen, after a nice chat she showed us around the b&b & to our room. Our room was lovely, spacious & nicely decorated, we had a small conservatory leading to an outdoor terrace. Noreen offered us afternoon tea which we helped ourselves to in the dining room, really good tea & coffee along with home made cakes & scones with preserves & fresh cream. What a lovely touch. We slept really well on our large comfortable bed. Good quality bedding & pillows. The Jacuzzi bath was a lovely treat as were the fluffy bath robes. We really enjoyed breakfast, a large selection all cooked to order. My partner thought the bacon & sausages were very good quality. I enjoyed the bagel & poached eggs. Again, good tea & coffee. There was also a fabulous selection of preserves & breads, homemade granola / museli and a selection of yoghurts with a choice of nuts & seeds. We had mentioned to Noreen that we were in Kinsale for my 40th birthday treat & when we checked out Noreen presented me with a birthday card & a box of chocolates. How Lovely!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Presbytery and can’t wait to return.

Had such a lovely time in Kinsale made all the better by our amazing accommodations! The hosts Phillip and Noreen were such lovely people and very willing to recommend places to eat and drink while we were there. The breakfasts were also fantastic and tea, coffee and homemade cakes were being served all day long it was great! Thanks so much again, well definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our time here. Great breakfast, complimentary afternoon tea and cakes. The bedroom was lovely and Noreen recommended two great restaurants to us - Max's Wine Bar and Shanghai Express. Her husband, Phillip is a fabulous cook and their blue cheese bacon omelette and goat cheese and mushroom crepe are excellent. Great little B&B within walking distance to everything in Kinsale. Also, we got a 10% discount for paying with cash, so ask if that's possible when you stay.

We stayed at a variety of B & Bs on our 10 days in Ireland, but this was the best! It featured a really nice, comfy and big room, but the best part was the breakfasts! Our host/chef Philip offered not only a top-notch breakfast with great variety and lots of homemade baked goods, but provided afternoon tea with even more delicious home-baked goodies. Noreen helped me contact my rental car company and made me feel at ease. She also recommended a top-notch restaurant in town and made reservations for us.

It just gets better! Philip and Noreen certainly give you a warm welcome at their wonderful guest house. The rooms are bedecked with olde world touches with modern facilities. Philip's breakfasts are brilliant and set you up for the day. After days out it was marvellous to come back to complimentary tea and cakes. We stayed over Easter and had wonderful weather to enjoy the town and surrounding area. We ate in a different restaurant each night and it was no trouble for Philip or Noreen to recommend one and reserve a table for us. All in all a wonderful place to relax and be looked after. Our stay here in Kinsale was restful and relaxed. We were traveling with another couple and Philip and Noreen gave us a downstairs suite with a common area with sitting area and kitchenette. Breakfasts were wonderful and afternoon tea and snacks provided extra comfort. Rooms were comfortable and warm. The town is a great place to explore with good restaurants and plenty of sites to see. We were lucky to play nearby golf course, the Old Head. I'd come back in a heartbeat. Great place and very welcoming!

Philip and Noreen make this a perfect place to relax and soak up the beauty of Kinsale. We were greeted when we came in by Noreen and her wonderful dog. She and her husband have worked very hard to make this an exceptional comfortable and beautiful B&B. After she settled us into our room, she made us a beautiful tea. Her dining room is chock full of different tea cups and tea pots. Each table is graced with fresh flowers. I was so taken with her graciousness and sense of humor. All I wanted to do was move next door, and have her and Philip as my neighbors.
Our room was spacious and beautiful. We had a twin and queen size bed. There was additional room for comfortable chairs. The bathroom is lush…with a Jacuzzi and shower. We had thick terry cloth robes available. Our room, bath, and dining area were spotless. A lot of care has been given to each detail.
I was touched that Noreen is always up and available. Our breakfast was as perfect (thank you Philip) as every other aspect of this B&B. If I ever get to Ireland again, I will always visit the Old Presbytery.

Room Tip: I think that any room in this B&B would be lovely.
