This was a very disappointing experience. We went here a couple of weeks ago. In fairness the staff were really friendly and polite but they didn't have a breeze. We were twice told they had a table for us but then apologized as others sat down in it. The same seemed to be happening to other groups.
As for the food, they crop up in search results for 'Best Burger in Ireland' and display plaques with pride in the restaurant claiming the same. It was only after a couple of bites into the dreadful burger I noticed the award was given by Hector on 2FM (not quite Georgina Campbell). You get better burgers in vans outside the Aviva, not meaning to be smart it's simply the case. It definitely couldn't be fresh beef. Chicken wings were 'ok' but potato skins were a joke- more like a reheated boiled potato which had plenty of that fake nacho cheese on it, ugh.
On top of this the boss was quite agressively barking audience at his staff in full ear shot of customers which didn't exactly add to the atmosphere.
If you have a good few drinks or don't have high standards for food you might enjoy it, it is a nice spot and is pretty child friendly. If you're looking for a quality meal though on a rare night out in Malahide, I'd advise steer well clear.
