“Absolutely Fabulous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2007

This hotel is adaptly named as it is indeed a diamond of a jewel!
I visited this hotel for a weekend with my fiance when it just opened back in April and I have frequented the place three times since with family and friends. It is a wonderful hotel - finished to the highest standards and staffed with the friendliest people I have ever met. From the reception staff to the bar and waiting staff, they really make you feel welcome.
The food is also very good as is the entertainment each night in the lounge bar and ballroom.
I have frequented many hotels in my time - some good some bad but I think when a hotel can tick the following: beautilful decor, comfortable surroundings, excellent food and drink and finally friendly and obliging staff they are definetly onto a winner.
I highly recommend this establishement to anyone looking to get away from it all.

This Hotel is Beautiful. It has fab rooms, Brill views, and wonderful staff. BUT NO FOOD!!!!! On arrival we were told that there kitchen was having problems and wouldnt be providing any meals only breakfast. I realy felt sorry for all the staff as they are the ones that have to deal with the guests They were so nice us.Couldnt have been more helpful. But in saying that transport was provided to bring guests to a near by pub/restaurant which by the way was fantastic, great food, great price, brilliant staff its called Gilroys. Highly recomended if your in the area.

Overall: Beautiful new hotel with teething problems and if the current staff keep working together im sure they will overcome these problems.
The staff on reception, in houskeeping,in the bar, the man driving the bus,and staff clearing the glasses were all very nice people .
I look forward to going back in the future and eating in there restaurant.
