Where to start??? Firstly we had rang ahead to say that we were taking my 8 year old niece who is a wheelchair user and to check what disabled facilities they had. They had very poor facilities or areas to get a disabled child ready etc.
The GIRL on reception was, to put it bluntly, rude. Absolutely no "people skills" and dear God a smile would have killed her. She was most unhelpful in relation to trying to get a wheelchair in and out of the building, and never as much as grunted at my niece in the wheelchair.
The "public" toilets were the same toilets that the swimmers etc were using so you had people walking around with shoes on where barefoot people were walking 2 minutes later. Eventually I found a cubicle with toilet paper in it, few and far between. The toilets were RANK, broken toilet seats, just dirty floors and toilets themselves were disgusting.
The viewing area was rubbish, you couldn't even get a cup of tea, not that you'd have sat that long on what were the flimziest cheapest looking chairs out the front.
The kids said that the lifeguards inside were very nice so that's something I suppose.
All in all I thought the whole placed looked dated and in serious need of a refurb. Advice to management would be, at least put someone with a bit of personality at front of house, the girl today was very young so maybe it's worth paying full wage and getting someone decent.
Would not go back or recommend to anyone.
