Had Sunday lunch here on July 14th. There were 2 of us,we had a drink and ordered our food in the bar, were moved to the dining room when it was ready. Choosing from the Sunday lunch menu I had, seafood chowder, sirloin steak and my partner had Cajun chicken and mango salad, and chicken breast with wine and mushroom sauce. The main courses were accompanied by extra mashed potato, carrots, green beans and chunky fries.
The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. For dessert we had homemade apple pie, served with fresh cream, ice cream and fresh raspberries, it was honestly the best apple pie I have ever tasted.
Lunch for 2 with 3 courses and a pot of coffee cost €40. With food this good, friendly staff and value like that, we look forward to going back with friends very soon.
