A very large group was down in this hotel during the weekend of 13sept-15sept and this hotel was truly amazing! The mangers ensured that over 300 people were happy with there meal on the Saturday and they really could not have done enough for us. I would highly recommend hotel Ballina for any function you may have and the hotel itself is stunning! Can't wait to go back!

Stayed here on sun aug 25.On arrival the receptionest was most helpful. The room was large and spacious with a fabulous 6ft bed. This bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.The bathroom was spotless, lashings of hot water and a plentiful supply of large fluffy towels.Staff very knowledgable of the area and all the sites and shops, of course they were all local.Had bar food and it was hot tasty and plentiful. We were on the second floor which was extremely quiet.I will definately come back again to this fabulous new quiet hotel. And of course the fabulous 6ft bed.....

My son and I visited Ballina in July this year. We stayed at the Hotel Ballina and enjoyed our stay immensely. Rooms were comfortable and clean, the service excellent. Meals were delicious. The only possible downside was distance from town but that was not a hurdle, in any case a night "in" at the Hotel Ballina is a night well spent.

My boyfriend and I went to Hotel Ballina for a two nights stay and firstly couldn't find the hotel...needs more sign posts! The staff upon arrival were friendly and showed us to our room! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but the corridors were very noisy and ha a very bad sleep the first night. Breakfast the next morning was very bad...we were put into the bar because the waitress wouldn't clean off a table for us to use, the breakfast was scarce and cold and the staff were not helpful!! The next morning as we were down earlier we got a seat in the breakfast room but the chairs were so uncomfortable NZ the breakfast was again cold! This hotel has so much potential that it could definitely be improved but I do not think I would stay here again!!

A wonderful hotel. Very quiet with great fascilities and a lift! Great for weddings, parties, anything. And half the price of the Ice House which is nearby. It would be great to stay at this hotel for 1 or 2 weeks and make it a base for day trips around the country. I arrived very late in the day as I had to drive from the Cliffs of Moher. I had just driven from Dublin via Wexford and Kilkenny the previous 2 days and thought the west coast has a motorway too. Big mistake. Poky little roads and a hundred tracktors later I arrived. So add an extra 1 or 2 hours if your driving this way.

Room Tip: The place has a lift. Very important with bags or cart them upstairs at your backs expense!

Attended a recent wedding at Hotel Ballina. I cannot praise it enough. The hotel itself is luxurious, the wedding reception was fabulous from the starters to the desserts. The staff were friendly and very very efficient. Could not do enough for us. The manager Mr.Moyles is very pleasant and helpful and really knows how to make people feel comfortable.

Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
