I went on this adventure by myself on a day that the rest of my family went golfing in Belmullet. This was one of the most breathtaking experiences that I've ever had. Being able to walk over this rustic farmland to the edge of cliffs with the crashing waves carving out the high cliff faces was unbelievably beautiful. The website brochure said that the hike was "easy", but there were a few inclines that might be difficult for those with physical limitations. The entire hike offered a different view at every turn...green farmland turned into barren fields turned into shoreline turned into rolling hills. I was so taken by this that I brought my family back after they finished golfing and we all took the hike in the evening. My family was tired after walking 18 holes, but did not regret going back with me as we all agreed it was one of the highlights of our trip! Highly recommended!
