“Lovely cosy relaxing hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Stayed here with my wife and other family members for a wedding this weekend ,Would highly recommend ,Deserves more than a 3 star rating .Staff friendly and courteous, breakfast was one of the best we have had in a while .Total chill out hotel ,we did not want to leave .Hotel is very decieving from the outside it looks nothing but once inside u are faced with a olde world bar and cosy welcoming seating areas . The bike shop up the road past centra is a great pub well worth a visit.

We stayed one night here after spending the previous two nights in the amazing Heaton's Guesthouse down the road in Dingle. The bar was set so high by Heaton's that Benner's turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. The staff were very friendly and the hotel has a nice old-world ambience, but our room was basic, slightly tatty and located at the back of the building where an extractor fan from the kitchen's was quite intrusive (we were told it only came on at midday but this was not true - it started at 8am).
The hotel has a good location right on the main street, and overall our stay was fine, but there are better places to stay in Dingle, and you'll pay less for them.

Our rooms and bathrooms were huge for an old European hotel. The included breakfast was delicious and had choices for any taste. The older section of the hotel has a bit of wear and tear (mostly the carpet needs to be replaced) and no lift, but everything else was so great, we didn't care--it was built in the 1800s. We got a great deal off "rack rates," so can't complain about that.

Pros:
Charm
Clean (except for the carpet), comfortable, quiet
Free parking
Friendly/helpful staff
Food variety

Cons:
Dirty carpet

Room Tip: If you're OK without a lift, 425 and 426 take up the whole 4th floor at the front of the buildin...

We arrived late into Dingle, not booked. Were going to stay in a bed and breakfast across the street but no area to 'chill' . Checked out the Benner; beaut bar and lounge areas ...... and warm! Reasonably priced, excellent service, big rooms. Central location, great place, would definitely stay again

I stayed here for a night on a work trip in February. Given it was midweek and the time of year it was very quiet. My room was very well appointed and comfortable. The hotel itself is fine and convenient for wandering around Dingle. Food was OK but nothing spectacular. All in all a reasonable place if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Dingle.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of friends for weekend break in Dingle. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. The staff here are amazing, all so friendly, from check in to check out and the location was brilliant, right in the middle of things but at the same time a nice quiet hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: I had a room on the first floor at the back and it was nice and quiet.

The atmosphere was very nice and appealing. The restraunt was very clean. The food however left much to be desired. The steak burgers were incredibly dry and over cooked. Service was good but rushed. The steak also was very chewy and dry. I would not recommend or visit again.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your meal in Mrs Benners Bar. If you would like to contact me directly at the hotel I would be very interested in hearing any further comments you could give me about your experience. We pride ourselves in the quality of our entire experience so although you mention some positive comments my concern is that in your case our Hotel didn't live up to the usual high standards that the majority of our customers enjoy. I would appreciate if you could find the time to contact me so I can personally address the issues you have mentioned.
