Eaten a little too much at lunchtime in Dingle town? Then work some of it off with a stroll up Carhoo Hill to Eask Tower. The route itself is across farmland so one is able to experience the menacing / bemused / nonplussed expressions of the various sheep! There is also an honesty box at the bottom of the hill but the request is only for 2 euros each. The views up the top are fantastic, back across Dingle bay in one direction, across to Ventry and Mount Eagle in another. Be warned though. Dont make the mistake we did. Halfway up the bay was clear and bright so we elected to climb to the top and take some photos. The mist had drifted in by this point, shrouding the bay and making it invisible. By the time we were halfway back to the bottom, the mist had cleared again!
