“A truly lovely place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2006

This is probably the best B&B I've ever stayed at - absolutely lovely and a real treat. 2 mins walk to Dingle which is a really nice place to visit. Breakfast was fab. Ensure you do the Slea Head Drive - fantastic scenery - even though it didn't stop raining when we went there...

One of most enjoyable stays in all of Ireland. Dingle is so wonderful (and Bambury's is so nice) that we stayed an extra night. I would recommend you pre-book with them. We only pre-booked 1 B&B out of about 20 for our holiday, and Bambury's was it.

We had a very nice room with a magnificent view of Dingle Bay and Dingle Town. Mrs. Bambury made us feel welcomed and we had no problems or hassles at all. We also got personal attention (see the pictures)

We loved this place, and will stay there again next time in Dingle.

While not the most centrally-located (there are B&Bs right in town), it's only about 2 minute walk to the edge of town and 1 minute from the top-rated Chart House restaurant (which we found always full and overrated).

We were also kind of a menace because friends and family called us often, but they helped us out with the phones and let us use theirs, and took messages for us too.

The price was right, the room was great, the peace, quiet, location and view made this our best stay in Ireland!

My family and I recently stayed at Bambury's in April. The house is right as you enter town and a great location for taking a stroll in town. We booked the family room which had a huge bed for the adults and 2 twins for the kids. I also loved the big shower with great water pressure. As some of you know from being in Ireland that sometime can be a problem. Not here!

Also, the breakfast was amazing. They catered to my children who are very picky eaters. My husband and I enjoyed all they had to offer. One day we picked the full Irish breakfast, which is always good. And then we had the crepes with fruit which was our favorite. My husband also enjoyed the salmon and eggs. YUMMY!!

Bambury's is one of the best places I have stayed at in Dingle, let alone in all of Ireland. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for making our time in Dingle a memorable one.

We took a 12 day Ireland tour in Feb 2005. This was the best place overall that we stayed in - plus, it's in Dingle, a great town. No complaints of any kind, and the price was right (for Ireland). Previous reviews on this site are right on!

We had 2 rooms at Bambury's for 2 nights in Jan 2005. First things first, what a great location! It's on the main road into town (only time we didn't get lost finding the B&B on our whole trip). It was only a minute's walk to town centre (and we're old farts). The rooms were HUGE and soooo comfy. We had a fantasic view from both rooms, and the walls were not nearly a thin as the other places we stayed. We never heard another soul, and thought we had the house to ourselves until we came down to breakfast, and there were 4 other couples there. The breakfast room is phenominal, with the best view of the harbor. The breakfasts were the best in all of our 16 day stay. They were fresh, huge and original. There were lots of options (not that you needed anything more than what they keep out on the "self serve" table...wow!). The only down side to the place was that it was not as personal as some of the other place we stayed. We only saw our hostess as she rushed in or out, or when we needed to pay. She was nice enough, but I don't even remember her name. However, our stay was so amazing we didn't even miss the one-on-one with the owner. We would stay there every single time, hands down.
