“Our nicest accommodations in Ireland!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2011

Great hospitality & food; thanks Bernie! The rooms were big, comfy and spotless. Nice large family room for kicking back at the end of the day. I will definitely try to stay at the Bambury's Guest House if I'm lucky enough to return to Dingle.

Found Bambury's on TripAdvisor and were definitely not disappointed. It was very easy to find and Bernie gave us a very warm and friendly welcome, what a lovely lady! The room was really nice, though not the best of views over the main road. This wasn't a problem though as we were only staying for one night and arrived late and left early. Dingle town was just a short walk down the hill and the restaurant Bernie recommended, Lord Baker's, was really good. On the walk back we stopped in o'sullivans pub for a couple of drinks and were treated to a friendly welcome and some fantastic traditional live Irish music. Great breakfast menu too, with a bit more on offer than your average B&B.

Bamburys was highly recommended to us and after our stay we would highly recommend it to anyone. Location is great as is price. Everywhere was really clean and our room was really comfortable with better pillows than we have at home! The shower was really powerful too. Overall we loved it at Bamburys and will most definitely be back! Read some of the bad reviews on Bamburys and must say we completely disagree. Highly recommended guest house.

Bernie welcomed us and she was very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, very big, the bathroom and shower were also big. Tea & Coffee in the rooms along with some biscuits :) Breakfast was very tasty. Could not have asked for more. We will definately be back. This is the best guesthouse I have ever stayed in, alot nicer than some Hotels also.

Room Tip: Room 10 was fab:)

Stayed here for 3 nights on our trip to Ireland. Our Room (10) was very big with a kingsize bed and a single bed. We also had another seating area and large bathroom. The staff were very friendly breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Very close to Dingle harbour and town. For great Irish music pop into murphy's and enjoy a sing along. Our only complaint (if its at all relevant) is the TV is very small I know you are here to sight see but sometimes you do need to sit back and relax. Also the dressing table area the mirror is too high for the chair supplied so I had to sit on pillows. Otherwise excellent

Normally I'm not a fan of staying in B & B's but given the prices of hotels in the area, I went hunting down a nice large enough well located B & B in Dingle. Which was very difficult to find for a July stay. I couldnt believe the prices of them! Bamburys however ticked all our boxes as to the type of B & B we do love to stay in. It was large so you don't feel like you are staying on top of a family, it had lots of parking, it was so well located a two minute stroll into Dingle, the service was friendly and professional and homely, the host Bernie was excellent both pre-arrival when booking and during our stay, the place was clean and modern, very well equipped with all the facilities you needed in your room, bed comfy and warm, and the breakfast was simply the best I've had definately in a B & B and in most hotels in Ireland. There was a full menu of options and great views from the dining room. The fruit crepes and homemade scones were so delicious. We stayed in a first floor room at the front overlooking the road and GAA pitch. It is not at all noisy on this main road and we slept soundly. Best of all, it was also the best value B & B in Dingle we found. Do not hesitate to stay here.

We had a great stay at Bambury's Guesthouse. The staff was most accomodating and the location was ideal - just a block away from the heart of town. The breakfast was incredible - try the Eggs Benedict and the Fruit Crepes. We loved the open field behind us with grazing cows. I would definitely stay there again.
