We checked into Heaton's Guesthouse in Dingle, and that is where I have decided to live for all of my days...completely spoiled and pampered. Heaton's is fantastic...gourmet breakfast, outstanding friendly service, and comfortable rooms kept immaculately clean and supremely comfortable.

Our deluxe room was lovely with a view of the water across the street, and the breakfast is grand and decadent! Our daughters had a nice standard twin room.

Our hostess, Nuala, greeted us upon our arrival and she was most welcoming. Our host, Cameron, entertained us while serving breakfast, and when we had a late breakfast time he had time to linger for a chat. We all enjoyed our breakfast chats with Cameron. Ah, breakfast is heaven at Heaton's.

The pancakes at Heaton's are outrageously good. They are unique and similar in texture to a homemade muffin with a bit of crunchy on top. Pancakes served with fruit and cream if desired. I ordered fresh fish for breakfast one morning, yum. The cold breakfast bar had nice fruit, fresh breads, etc. All of these wondrous choices and more are included in your room rate! We enjoyed it with excellent hot tea. (They also have coffee.) Oh, you can have porridge with drambuie and cream as a starter!

Breakfast served until 10:00 am...woo-hoo! Late breakfast is great if you've been pubbing in lively Dingle town the night before.

My husband and I had deluxe room #8, blue and white room, comfortable King bed, very clean, pleasant, cheerful. Power shower with tub, nice wide-screen TV, 2 soft chairs, vanity with chair. Walk into lively Dingle town in about 10 minutes...easy flat walk with sidewalks.

Heaton's is very special, a slice of heaven. I'm raving, I know. This isn't the Ritz, you understand, but it is more luxurious than I ever imagined a family-run guesthouse could ever be. The deluxe room was 75 euro per person in July (high season) and worth every cent. This price includes the breakfast, which was truly one of the highlights of my trip I must add!

At Heaton's we enjoyed the best combination of 2 worlds...the homey personal touch a family-run b&b can offer, and the luxurious comforts that can usually only be found in pricey hotels.

The standard room that my daughters stayed in didn't have quite the same luxuries as the deluxe room, but it was a very nice comfortable room and included the same memorable breakfast choices.

A deluxe room at Heaton's is a worthy splurge for b&b enthusiasts. Really tops.

Heaton's was great place to experience the charm of rural Ireland! The guest house is run by the Heaton family - we were greeted by Mr. Heaton upon checking in and he, Mrs. Heaton, and their son all serve the guests breakfast. Breakfast was delicious! Everything was fresh, and it was nice to eat in the bright room overlooking Dingle Bay.

The room we got was adorable. Lovely hard wood furniture and a bright, although a bit cramped, modern bathroom. My husband's birthday was during this trip, so Mrs. Heaton obliged my request for a sea view, which was beautiful!

The guest house was a small walk to Dingle town - about 5-10 minutes, but you hardly notice it after a few pints in town. I think the fact that it was a little out of town made it even better.

Considering breakfast was included, the 60 Euros per person we paid was reasonable.

If you get a chance, try out the Dingle Pitch & Putt, just around the bay from Heaton's. Amazing views!!!

We called in the morning to book a room, and arrived in late afternoon. Our view from the front window was lovely. Room a bit small, but the bathroom was very adequate. Flat screen TV if you cared to watch. Great dinner recommendations. Delightful breakfasts. Very clean. Friendly family staff. The next day we toured the magnificent penninsula, then went for dinner and great pub music, returning home at 11 PM to find that our things had been moved to a "back" room, which was larger and more comfortable. The fee for the rooms was 126 Euro per night, which we thought was high, since the TripAdvisor rate shows $32 ($64 for2) which is considerably different! It was, after all, our fault for not asking, but we did feel a bit taken advantage of. The rate for this room was higher than for any of the other B&B's/ guesthouses where we stayed, and although it was nice, we did not feel that it was worth the extra 28-50 Euro per night that we paid. If money is no object, go for it.

We stayed at Heatons for 2 nights in May. We were given a very nice room. It had no view, however. The breakfast in the morning was more than adequate with very delicious crepe-like pancakes that I ordered both days. The porridge was great as other posters have said. The place was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The only reason I gave it 3*** is because it was farther from town than I would have liked. Normally, I wouldn't have minded but the weather was particularly bad and we had to drive to Dingle each time and parking was not easy. The other thing was that it would have been nice if there was tea available in the afternoon and a place where you could sit and talk with other travelers as another poster mentioned in their review. The sitting area was small albeit with nice furnishings. Also, it kind of bothered me when I checked out because they charged me in US dollars rather than in Euros which was more costly. When I noticed it in the car I did go back in and ask them to cancel that charge and recharge me in Euros which they did with no problem.

But, in spite of this, it is quite a nice facility and the owners took great care of their home. They were also very hospitable.
