“Great for breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

The porrige is phenomenal (just ask my daughter as I was stealing all of hers). If you are American, you probably won't like pudding. Low key and very friendly people running the place. I would go again.

“Great Chowder”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

Great seafood chowder on a cold day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is small and we went there around 11am hence breakfast was still being served- lots of hot chocolates and cappuccinos being served on a cold morning.

“Really Nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

On a recent wet and windy visit to Dingle we happened to pop in here by chance as the rain was pelting down and it seemed to be never ending. Good decision. The place is small but serves really good home cooked food at the right price. I could not fault any part of it. Kids happy also.

“amazing food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

i believe the first day we went to the chowder cafe, i had something called goat cheese bruschetta and i was a little skeptical, but it was AMAZING!!! we ate there MANY time, and every time was absolutely DELICIOUS. i would go back to ireland just to eat at that cafe- it's a small cozy resturaunt with great atmosphere and very nice staff. but the best thing in the whole resturaunt was that evil banoffi pie- we have never tasted anything so sinful!!!!! we truly never had a bad meal and were very sad the day the waitress cut her finger and they closed so she could go to hospital. thank God she was okay, but we seriously missed the food!

“Best Seafood Chowder ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

Quaint restaurant in Dingle that we stumbled upon. I grew up in New England and I have eaten all kinds of chowder, but the Chowder House seafood chowder was the best I've ever had. Chunks of fresh seafood in a light base, not a heavy cream. Soooo good!
