“Happily eat here every night”

Friendly service & chat. Dream of the great chowder & pint of Guinness. Met a couple who had eaten here every day of their week long holiday & were still enjoying it. Envied them!!

“Best restaurant in Dingle?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

One of the best restaurants in Dingle in my view - and certainly one of the best value

Quality cooking with good ingredients and a lovely atmosphere and good range of menus. Look forward to going back

“Good Food in Dingle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

If you are ever visiting Dingle in Ireland I thouroughly recommend the food at Ashes Restaurant. Especially the Chowder!! The staff are friendly and and attentive and although we had every intention of trying other places when the food is this good you just can't help but keep going back. We would recommend booking especially on a Saturday night.

“One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Seriously, we are foodies and planned each day around food. We loved the Dingle area, our wonderful guesthouse, and to find Ashe's - well...it made the perfect trip. The restaurant was very crowded on our first visit yet we were seating quickly. The selections on the menu were excellent and we were guided very expertly by the wait person - who I was told was actually the owner! Across the board, our food was just superb. She recommended I try the local Dingle Gin when I ordered a gin and tonic and it was quite good and unique. We had such a great evening we went back the next night. We had great food throughout Ireland but we rated Ashe's as the best. Daniel H.

“Super food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

This restaurant should not be missed. The food is top quality. Staff are friendly & helpful. Fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Seafood chowder a meal in its self. They also have a local stout & ale that was worth a try. Lots of groups here when we visited, we had a reservation.
