We stayed with Peter and Mignonne our one night in Kenmare and we absolutely delighted with everything. The house is immaculate and attractive. Our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed homemade yogurt and bread at breakfast and Peter's omelette was exceptional. We enjoyed chatting with our hosts during and after breakfast and wish only that we had more time to enjoy their company. Peter was very helpful in assisting us with dinner reservations ahead of our trip. We would love to stay here again in the future and recommend this bed and breakfast without hesitation.

One of the nicest B&Bs during our trip to sunny(!!) Ireland in May 2008. Large room, immaculately clean, 10 minutes walk to town, tasteful and generous breakfast and very charming and helpful innkeepers. Mignonne knows every spot in Ireland, trust her!!

My husband and I just returned from an eight night stay in Ireland and The Driftwood was the highlight of our B & B experiences. We spent three nights in this lovely home and it exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and convenient. We enjoyed the strolls into and back from Kenmare. Peter and Mignonne spoiled us with terrific hospitality. They went out of their way to pamper us. The breakfasts were delicious and there was a nice variety to the menu. Mignonne's homemade bread and yogurt were nice additions to the hot breakfast options. Peter gave us great suggestions for pubs and restaurants when we inquired, and Mignonne sent us off with pamphlets and instructions for our day trips. I will definitely recommend this B & B to my friends.

My sister and I stayed at Driftwood for one night last August during a 5 night road trip around Ireland. This was our second to last night, and it's a good thing because it put all of our previous B&Bs to shame. The B&B is a nice, short walk to the BEAUTIFUL town of Kenmare. The place itself was beautiful; our room was clean an elegant, with a very good shower (this was a first for us on this particular trip). Down the hall from our room was a balcony for guests where we sat and watched the sunset over the hills. See my pictures! Peter and Mignonne were wonderful. Mignonne listened to the itinerary for our last day on the road and recommended something else, then outlined the route for us on the map and recommended stops along the way! Such a great trip, and the drive to Kenmare itself made it worth the visit here worthwhile (spent the previous day at Killarney National Park, the drive down was spectacular!). Definitely stay here if you get the chance!!
