near Kenmare, perfect for exploring Ring of Kerry or Dingle. You can walk into town from Sallyport...this small inn is kept in the most perfect condition...absolutely spotless. The innkeeper greets you at the door with just the right amount of information, given quite quickly, with friendliness and consideration. The inn is filled with antiques, lovely rugs and windows with views over the extensive garden. Bedroom was nice, not elegant or memorable, but nice...sheets were memorable, however, beautiful with tatting...! Mattress , the usual Ireland product which is not particularly comfortable. Sitting areas very nice, there is no tea service or wine or anything, however breakfast the following morning was one of the best we experienced. And that is due to the innkeeper's extremely personal service, attention to detail on the buffet, lovely fruit and breads, anything to order and tables overlooking the greenery. Breakfast was simply memorable...like something a loving friend would prepare for you...fresh, delicious and beautifully presented...we loved every bite. This is a property that fits into the area well and one that enhances your stay.
