Stayed for a night the end of February. Hotel was lovely... inviting atmosphere, room was spacious and warm. Breakfast the next morning was divine. I'm very happy with my brief stay and it helped that the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks fiona you are a credit to the hotel.

My Wife and I recently celebrated our 20th Wedding anniversary here. What a fantastic hotel, The managment and staff were brilliant. .A lovely hotel with friendly staff whose customer care is warm and welcoming. Our bedroom was modern and immaculate with a large comfy bed and contemporary bathroom. We had over 20 guests with us, We went for a meal in the restaurant and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The food was gorgeous and enjoyed by all of us. Music was provided for us in the bar upon request. Thank you especially to Caroline who looked after us all evening, the young man who served a delicious breakfast in the morning and of course Fona who made all the arrangements in advance. We will definately be returning here.. And most of all thank you for the complimentary bottle of bubbly which was left in our room.

Seven of us were booked in to 3 rooms and had to change rooms several times upon arrival. The first room had not been made up since the last occupant. Not only had the beds not been changed but the lamp was broken and there was somebody else's underwear left in the wardrobe. In another bedroom a headboard was missing and there were no towels. Also a double bed and a single were requested in a triple room and 3 singles were provided. The receptionist did her best to help and provided extra pillows when asked, she even ironed my husbands shirt, however I find it hard to add anything favourable to that. The bar prices were reasonable but the area lacked atmosphere even though it was Christmas.

Room Tip: Make sure the rooms are ready for you and be aware that breakfast is served later and is an extra.

I visit this hotel regularly as a community venue for dancing. Thought I would try the food this time and very very impressed. The goats cheese starter was superb followed by a very impressive vegetable stir fry. As a vegetarian I am used to trying dishes which are an afterthought to the main menu but both these selections were top class. On top of that the service is very friendly.

Room Tip: Didn't stay over so can't say

Myself and my boyfriend have been coming to the Cross Square Hotel for weekend breaks throughout the last 3 years. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is so good that we have not eaten anywhere else while we stayed up there on our many visits! The beds are very large and comfortable and you can be sure to have a comfortable nights sleep! It really is home away from home!!! Would recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away and relax!

Room Tip: Bigger rooms are the rooms that are facing the back of the hotel.

Paul and all the staff were superb. Bedrooms very clean no pressure to get out of your room on departure day. Breakfast was probably the best we have had . Paul was the perfect host and the staff were very friendly and polite, everybody in our party felt the same way(40).definitely will return as will the rest of the party.

Room Tip: They are all very clean and comfortable.

I stayed at The Cross Square during the Bernhard-Hughes wedding in September 2013. This hotel and the Crossmaglen people were the highlight of my 2 week Ireland-Scotland trip. Fiona and the other staff members make you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. They were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfy. The restaurant food was really good and the beer cold.

Thank you Fiona, Margaret and family.
