Great value afternoon tea - great sandwiches fresh and full, lovely home made cake and superb coffee. Friendly staff. Inside could do with a bit of attention but it adds to the charm.

“History and cake my idea of heaven”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

A lovely tea shop serving old fashioned tea, coffee and cakes. Our christmas cake and wensleydale cheese was delicious. The bonus was the beautiful building, oak beams , fireplaces and leaded windows looking out onto the market place.
What a lovely find
