“Weeks stay - no golf”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

Had a great week. Great facilities - good location to see all the main attractions of the area - 3 courses if you want to play golf - not for me - we used all the facilities and the coffee is not bad (Helen my wife)

To begin with, the SPA is very good, the indoor swimming pool is very nice to relax and also the Jacuzzi. The rooms are well presented and decorated. The staffs are not very friendly and I had an average meal in their Bewderm Restaurant. Please be prepared that if you stay probably you have to dine in the hotel. There are not plenty of options around. The resort is in the middle of nowhere.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the golf camps instead of the cars park. The view is nice.

Friendly welcome, big clean rooms, comfy bed, great pool, sauna, hot tub and separate kids pool, huge grounds. Good value for a bank holiday weekend. Luggage store was useful in the morning of check out so could use the pool one last time.

A beautifuylly located modern stylish hotel which was both comfortable and relaxing.

An overnight stay witha superior room with large nbalcony overlooking the course and the longest green I have imaginable.

Everything was perfect and the breakfast at £12.50 still meant the of us stayed for under £100.

Would stay again when in this area.

Room Tip: Book a superior room if you want extra space and a balcony. Rooms 230 and 232 were excellent and ve...

Went for lunch in the fine dinning restaurant which serve a traditional Sunday lunch with local produces. We both had ham hock terrine which was great , lots of flavours followed by roast beef very tender and cooked to perfection. And to finish apple crumble. Service was very good also , Victoria the young girl in charge picked us a great bottle of claret and not overly expensive. Well be back.

20 of us on a golf trip. We were made to feel really welcome right away by the pro shop manager who showed us around the facilities - nice touch. Then the golf organised by Cameron was superb. We had everything sorted for us from great rooms over looking the 18th to photos and goody bags. Brilliant service, Cameron even went back to the proshop for us when one of the guys broke his driver. Simply the best service we have had on a golf trip and we've been on some premier courses. Nicklaus course is tough but stunning - the 11th (Augusta 12th replica) is awesome. Well done st Mellion, well done Cameron.

We had our wedding here last week, the day couldn't have gone any better, the organisation from the beginning to the end was absolutely 1st class. The venue was gorgeous, we were so lucky with the weather, the views looking out over the countryside are fabulous. The food was delicious and the customer service was second to none. Every little detail was taken care of leaving us to enjoy our special day worry free. Special thanks to Anne-Marie and Andy for their hard work throughout, we will remember this amazing day forever. Thank you St Mellion.
