Inside the house many rooms are accessible and contain many historical features and furniture. Grounds are magnificent and food available. Tours include hunting tower.

“Wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

We are Gold card members and visit Chatsworth many times every year. We love walking in the gardens and parkland, seeing what changes have been made to the house, letting the kids run off steam in the farm and adventure playground, and attending the many events. Christmas at Chatsworth is magical!

“Fabulous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

I love the grounds around the house more than the house itself which is very grand and formal. There is the most beautiful scenery outside though, with walking alongside the river, and if you have the energy walk up the hill, beyond the house, and through the woods at the back. The river bank is the perfect place for a summer picnic.

What a fantastic house and grounds, we went just to satisfy our curiosity and weren't disappointed, the grounds and fountain are spectacular, well worth a visit.

“awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

The interior is full, as you'd expect of the history of the house and the Devonshires. Quite intriging especially if you have followed any of the recent films/tv dramas. The grounds are so huge you can be quite alone if you chose. Can imagine from a byegone day garden parties. Unfortunately bad weather meant didn't get round the gardens but happily save that for another visit out there. The rolling countryside is stunning. I love the fact that the whole property/grounds is run on an eco friendly basis - re-using water etc. Amazing. You can feel the place is loved
