It may put you off for life, or, allow you to nicely write a fantastic review on trip advisor about this restaurant having never been able to compare it against real Thai food.
Thai food is light, fragrant, fresh and tasty, it's not like regurgitated Chinese food in cloying sauces that are so overpoweringly seasoned they are mouth burningy tasteless. Restaurant team, friendly, did what they were supposed to do but the constant happy birthday ice cream towers and toy pink purse was cheap and took me back to the u-tube happy ending massage parlour video ( google it, funny watch )
It's just not good food, which is what you are paying for, and its certainy not value for money when you add in the accompanying dishes like you always have to. The starters were straight out of the frozen section at your local store and my duck was seriously rubbery which is ok for the bath tub but not the dinner table. My brothers beef, or lamb, as the waitress didn't know and I'm sure the chef wouldn't tell was below average, parents chicken was drier than a desiccated nuns proverbial.
I would like to say something positive, constructive even, it looked the part is about the closest I can get. I only hope they read trip advisor and make changes, but I suspect this model works in little ole chesterfield so I will vote with my feet and write this as a guide to people who like Thai food and don't want to ruin their enjoyment.
