Very overpriced at £95 ! Room not clean and dirty bath.
Staff off-hand and appeared disinterested. Although zero degrees outside there was no heating in room. Hot water barely warm. Couldn't provide a full breakfast as it should be included in the price, as they had 'run out' of essential items. Other guests were also complaining.

Great Location, lovely town. Attractive exterior to hotel. Service, friendly but very sloppy, obviously all untrained. Also not to keen on seeing the breakfast server, smoking between dishing up breakfast. Bendy toast in the morning, discoloured avocado in evening meal. Room - clean and large, bed needed replacing as side had collapsed and the springs were uncomfortable on that side of the bed, also didn't like sleeping with a rubber sheet under the sheet as it makes for a sweaty night. Took about 5 minutes each time we tried to get in the room as the lock on the door was sticky and obviously had a certain knack to opening. Wouldn't have commented on the above if the heating had been on. When we arrived at 6pm the windows in the room were open and the heating on. The heating went off early evening, we were told it was on a "timer" the heating then came on for a short while and then didn't seem to come on again for the rest of our stay. Although there was a small fan heater in the room it wasn't enough to heat the room and we certainly wouldn't have it running while we were asleep. Although there were two extra blankets in the cupboard we were not cold in bed but were very cold in the morning without the heating in the room. Certainly would expect to have heating on at the beginning of December. Would have been nice at the end of the stay to have been asked if everything was ok and had the bill explained rather than just "told" to sign.
