A short walk from the Railway station, about 10 minutes. The staff are very friendly.
The ales on offer we're Tribute, Youngs and Bath Gem.
Whilst there we had the Sunday lunch, a very generous portion was presented on the plate, I had the roast pork. At the time you could have two meals for £13.99. Expect to wait a bit, but thats due to it being freshly cooked.
The pub is known for it's pies, not available on a Sunday, at £10.00 per meal. Check their website for special offers.
The smoking area at the back is on a lane, and the three tables are on a slope so you'll need to keep hold of your glass.
