After being warned off some fancy looking places to stay, we ended up at this lovely little bed and breakfast, in part due to reviews on Trip Advisor. We couldn't have done better. We enjoyed 3 days with Carey and Diane, lovely, thoughtful and charming hosts. As a bonus, we liked the other guests as well. Although close to the town center, our room was extremely quiet, due probably to the thick walls. Parking was easy. The walk into town is too. Breakfast was always very pleasant. My wife noticed Diane coming back from the garden with fresh eggs direct from the nest. Typical understatement that no fuss was made about this nice touch. We got great advice on the small back roads to and from Bradford. The train trip into Bath is convenient and offers wonderful views of the river valley not possible when driving. Complaints? The most serious I can think of is that the lighting in the bathroom was not great. But my wife did not complain. The rooms do not have locks, but Carey explains you probably do not have locks on your bedroom doors either. Oh yes, we spend a nice evening in front of the fire enjoying Diane's home cooking. Her pear tart is one of the best I have ever eaten.
