Excellent Indian cuisine with an interesting menu. Excellent service. The food on the menu reflects a variety of different Indian regions, and tastes great. The portions are just right.

“A mixed bag”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

We have eaten three times here but not since early last year when our experience left us feeling distinctly ripped off. The place is very smart, sharp and clean, but suffers from far too many waiters and somewhat small portions, however the food had been good until I tried a jewelled vegatarian dish boasting 9 vegetables. It was hard to count 9 pieces of vegetable let alone 9 different ones and that, coupled with the exorbitant price charged for a request for some vegetable dishes left us wondering why anyone would bother getting the car out to drive here!

We may try it again some day (as there are plus points) but I think that Warminster's other two Indian restaurants would have to be closed before we did!

“Love, love, love this restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

We moved from Birmingham (Balti Land) to Warminster and my most favourite food is Indian. I was dreading trying to find a great restaurant in Warminster. But we found the Toran!! It is fabulous, so tasty, not too heavy on the ghee, and so much choice. The staff are so friendly, it makes you just want to return. The food is consistently good whether eaten in the restaurant or taken away. We had all the family staying for Christmas and booked a meal at Toran. Everyone enjoyed their meal and said how wonderful it was. I can honestly say it knocks spots off the Balti houses we used in Birmingham. Sorry Birmingham!!

“Fantastic Indian restaurant in an unusual location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

This Indian restaurant is fantastic. The food, service and vibe makes every visit to the Toran enjoyable and well worth an evening out.

We have been a number of times and now consider it our favourite Indian restaurant thanks to the comprehensive menu, tasty food and brilliant service.

“Wow”

I have eaten many a curry in my time but their chicken madras was really superb. It is a great pity my wife and I live in Spain otherwise we would be regular visitors.

I recommend to all.
