We ate there for the second time three weeks ago and the food and service were fantastic. Extremely attentive service and the quality of the food was amazing. We hadn't realised we had such a gem down the road. Return visit already booked for tomorrow.

“Excellent place to eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

Booked a table for 4 at the Pub, had a great time, excellent Service, Delicious food (compliments to the Chef) Great value for money, and the waiting staff were very friendly and professional. Cant wait to go back again and try the rest of the food on the menu. We had the rabbit, steak, which was cooked exactly as ordered. And the fish cakes. All delicious, tasty and hot. One comment, as a party of 4 we did have a small table.

“Shame we never got to sample the apparent great food!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

So here we were having a luxury weekend away for my partners 40th. Went to pub on the Sunday to check out Monday night opening times. Went to Bath for the day and came back to find pub not open, no one answering the phone and 3 other people waiting patiently outside. Then a lady comes out of the pub ignores us until we shout her. We asked why the pub was not open and she rudely replied... I have had a baby and we are not open on Mondays for a couple of months!! Got in her car and left. Not even an apology. Try putting a note up for people to see so they can take there business elsewhere without wasting there time coming back for nothing. Went for Thai in the end. Gorgeous.

I am very disappointed that we could not cook for you this evening.
We have had our new born son and decided that we would close for a few months on monday evenings to give all staff some rest we have just recruited a new member of staff to help us continue to open on monday evenings.
Im not sure if you noticed but we have our opening hours clearly displayed by our main entrance at the front of the building.
As of the october we will only be closed on monday mornings.

Again i am very sorry that you were very disappointed at not being able to eat at the Weymouth Arms.

“Superb Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

Being local we have eaten at the Weymouth Arms several times over the last 6 months or so. the food has been consistently excellent and interesting. The service is superb and the wine list good too. It has a cosy atmosphere, especially in the oak paneled section. It is great to have somewhere special to eat in Warminster, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

“fabulous birthday experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Lovely atmosphere, well trained and attentive staff and fantastic food. My partner said his steak was the best he had had in a long time. Home made chips and desserts were first class. The menu was very varied and used local produce. Looking forward to trying a Sunday lunch - soon!
