Wonderful stay. Very comfortable and stylish Guest House. No wonder its has a 4 star rating. Very warm welcome from Debbie and nothing too much trouble. Even had cycles for guests own use. Breakfast was fantastic. Check out Debbie's own Granola Pots at Breakfast - they are to die for!

We had a one night stay (wish it could have been more) while touring around Ireland. Debbie and Richard did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Room and en-suite was spotless. Great breakfast and helpful recommendations for places to visit along the way. We'll be back!

We had a brief two night stay to attend a wedding and Debbie (Julia Roberts) and Richard (Richard Geer box) - so nicknamed by Robbie (Williams) our son ... did everything to make us comfortable and to feel at home. Richard made sure we got safely from and back to the airport - even though our arrival was at a very uncivilised hour! Lovely rooms, comfortable beds, appetising breakfasts and no pressure to be out of their hair! A lift to the wedding was also very welcome - particularly given our ladies' footwear! Go to lovely Port Stewart, stay at the lovely Strandeen and the lovely Debbie and Richard will make sure you enjoy every minute of your visit.

Room Tip: Bedrooms at the front have a lovely view out to sea

Extremely comfortable bed and well appointed room and bathroom. Welcoming and discreet atmosphere and approach from Debbie the proprietor. Nothing was too much trouble - got there early and was welcomed with cake and a huge pot of tea. Very very good breakfast (best I've had in a guest house of this type) and really restful. Two minutes walk from the wonderful Portstewart Strand (2 miles of gorgeous beach), this is a great place to base yourself.
It's pricey I think ( I paid only £30 more per night for a room in a renowned four star hotel not far away where I had a suite) but overall worth the money for the excellent service and high quality of the accommodation. Highly recommend!

Just had time for a one night stay but what a beautiful place, amazing location, awesome views and just across the road from the beach. The house is beautifully decorated, very relaxing and the service is very professional. Had coffee and apple pie when we arrived and chatted to Debbie and Richard about what we should do for the rest of the day. A very impressive, enthusiastic couple with a wealth of information but couldn't resist a good walk on the beach then spent the rest of the day visiting the Giants Causeway and Carrick a Rede rope bridge. Had dinner in the Mermaid in Portrush that evening, fantastic restaurant and food.
Slept really well, very comfy super king bed, robes, thick white towels, organic toileteries, everything seems very new and well maintained. Breakfast with a healthy twist - frest fruit smoothies, granola pots, pancakes and maple syrup and of course we maple bacon and poached
eggs as well!
Lovely experience, very relaxing, great value and just what we needed. More like a London Boutique Bed and Breakfast, not what we expected to find and will definitely be back.

What a fantastic B&B. Debbie and Richard could not do enough to ensure our fleeting visit was memorable. From drinks on arrival, to free shuttle runs to the Star of the Sea Church and offers of lifts into Portstewart when the weather wasn't good. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. Although our double room was small and didn't have an en-suite we did have the use of a bathroom to ourselves (We were advised of this when booking), the bathroom was beautifully designed and decorated with white fluffy towels.
Overall, staying at the Strandeen was a real delight and I look forward to returning soon. A big thank you to Debbie (Julia Roberts!) and Richard (Gear -box!) for making our stay so memorable.

Spent a 2 night break at Strandeen Bed and Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Really impressed by the professionalism of the owners Debbie and Richard, their excellent knowledge of the local tourist trails, attention to detail within their beautiful home and a natural ability to make each guest feel extra special. We haven't been so well cared for in many 5 star hotels! Beds were amazing - beautiful white linens and down comforters - only complaint, we found it hard to waken in the mornings. Breakfast was a delight, French toast and berries, maple ham, homemade breads and much to my wife's delight, fresh pressed coffee.
Travelling in Ireland has been a memory of a lifetime but staying in Strandeen has been a special memory and provided us with the comfort and pampering we needed within this tiring trip.
Well done guys, you've done an amazing job, probably the best out there!
