“Classic is exactly what it is.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

The Winebar has a really homely feel too it and is very welcoming. The style and decor is tranquil and has a great ambience about ot. Food and service has always been first class and the staff are more than friendly. The courtyard great for privacy and the upstairs for private functions. This Winebar and restaurant has been much needed in Limavady and I hope everyone continues to support it, as I will.

“Never again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

Cramped, uncomfortable seating and overpriced, overcooked food. Forgot to bring half of my wife's meal, told her they had given it to someone else then patted her on the back by way of apology! There are too many nice places to eat in Limavady to ever go back near this place.

“Best Carvery I've every had,Home cooked not mass produced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

The restaurant has character with intimate side rooms for private party's and plenty of tables for those wishing to be at the heart of things, The Sunday carvery is excellent value and is of an extremely high standard. This is achieved by cooking smaller quantities of food so it is served like a home made lunch and not as is the case with other carvery's where the finished article is little more than tasteless slops.
The service is good, efficient and as you would expect in Ulster very friendly.
Another plus is that it is next door to Frank Owens Bar (probably the best pub in Limavady) so it's a win win situation.

“Quiet Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

Four of us went for dinner on Tuesday 13 November 2012 and chose the Classic for a quiet but handy location.

My nephew originally comes from Limavady but has been living in London and now Thailand for a number of years so we were unsure if we could deliver on his usual culinary experiences. He and his new bride loved the interior, the service and of course the food. They had the breads to start - a great choice. We had scallops - delicious. All in all, every course was excellent, with the attentive services of the staff.

A little jewel hidden in Limavady.

I hope the level of service and food remains as high as demonstrated on Tuesday. Well done.

“Order Meat & Potatoes!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

We went as a large group and the service was great! Most folks who ordered beef or chicken dishes thought the food was very good as well, but I'd have to say steer clear of the Salt & Chilli Squid. It was described as being in a light tempura batter, but turned out to be shoestring sized pieces of squid coated in a heavy greasy batter. The tomato soup, on the other hand was exquisite!
