“Ragley Hall Children's Playground”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

As a single father with 4 children under 10, I try to take the children out to places that will increase their confidence through play as often as possible. Ragley Hall playground is one of those places.

The children's playground is situated within the grounds of Ragley Hall in the trees. It has a good selection of apparatus for the older children from ropes strung between two tree houses with a very large crash mat underneath to high slides and a 3D maze. All this and the position in the estate grounds allows you to let the older children run round. Whilst being able to find them easily.

Yet for the younger children 3 to 6 year olds the apparatus I felt was slightly underwhelming, but well thought out and positioned next to the coffee shop.

I came here as a child and loved it. I and remember getting lost in the maze which was just made of breeze block at that point in time and playing on the rope between the trees and running wild. I am glad to say my children feel much the same as I did and really enjoyed themselves in the Kids Zone.

To get in was £19.50 for one adult, two children over 5 and two under 5 which were free. We did not look at the house and gardens which were included in the ticket price this time, but we all really enjoyed our trip. It is worth taking drinks and a picnic as there are picnic tables provided.
