“Excellent room and service for everyone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

Excellent room for everyone`s budget, very clean, with extremely friendly and helpful stuff. Restaurant was very cosy, although we didnt try the excellent chowder that we heard from locals is famous for. No complaint at all. Definetely I will go back when I have the chance.

We are just back from our stay at the Inn on the Coast in Portrush feeling very relaxed and refreshed. We only stayed for the weekend, two adults and two children.

The room we stayed in had a Kind Size bed, a single bed and a travel cot for the baby with plenty of space for the kids to run amok. The beds were very comfortable and the views of the coast were breathtaking.

The pub/restaurant was very homely with a large open fire, a variety of seating areas so you could choose to dine or just relax and an excellent games room for the kids. We ate in their restaurant both nights and the food was really nice and the portion sizes rather large also.

Our favourite thing about our stay at the Inn on the Coast was the staff, they were all incredibly friendly and really took to our kids. A member of staff even took our little daughter for a walk so my wife could eat her dinner in peace.

We all thoroughly recommend this accomodation for anyone seeking a very relaxed stay- as the restaurant also overlooks the main road it would an amazing place to watch the Northwest also!

Room Tip: The family rooms overlook the Ocean with breathtaking views, so even if you don't have a family...

I brought a group of 40 people to Northern Ireland and we stayed at Inn on the Coast for two nights. Many people commented on how friendly the staff were, from our welcome upon reception to the breakfast service and the bar/restaurant staff. Adele and her team were brilliant to work with. The rooms are spacious, many with views of the sea. The en suite bathrooms were never short of hot water Overall, we couldn't ask for more! Thanks again for a lovely holiday!

Every person we encountered on the staff here was pleasant, friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. Based on that alone, I would recommend staying here. The woman who checked us out on our last morning found out that we had been charged in American dollars at the restaurant the night before, and she knew it would be less expensive for us if we were charged in euro, and although I had packed away my receipt she went through the restaurant's records to find our charge and credit it back to us in dollars and recharge it in euro. Where do you get that kind of service?? The room itself was quite spacious and the bathroom had LOTS of space to put toiletries. The room looked a bit worn, but it was clean. Also, the location was definitely a drive to the downtown area. Breakfast was acceptable but not great. Those minor things make this a 4-star rating rather than 5, but I would still recommend it.

The Inn on the Coast is about 3Kms from Portrush. It's easy to find with plenty of parking. We arrived on a bleak late October evening. It was quiet but warm and the lady at reception was very friendly. Even though there were 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids) our room was spacious and bright. The bathroom was also large with a great shower. The bar/restaurant was warm and comfortable with a nice fire burning and the food was good value and tasty. No complaints!

Stayed here for one night with my wife and two kids aged 6 and 8. My wife had booked our room by telephone and was immediately impressed by staff member Debbie who was both professional and courteous. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and we received the most genuine warm welcome at reception we have ever experienced. We stayed in a family room which was very large with sea views. It had a king size bed and two singles. We couldnt have asked for a better room in this price bracket. The beds were very comfortable providing exellent sleep for all of us. We had dinner in the bar where again the staff were exellent. The food was of a high standard too. Breakfast was equally tasty and served both with efficiency and once again genuine warmth. I would have no hesitation in returning here again and look forward to our next time here.
