“The Porridge Is Not To Be Missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

Staying here was kind of like visiting your sweet Aunt back home. Rachel makes you feel welcome right away and her porridge is fabulous! Make sure to order this.
The rooms are cosy and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable and you can see the water on the upper floors. The location? 2 minutes to the beach! Great spot.
Laundry services are just a few doors down if you have any needs. She is great! Played 9 holes at Skerry just a 5 minute walk down the road.( this sort of feels like Royal Portrush, but doesn't dent the wallet if you know what I mean)
Plenty of good restaurants here...55 north & counties at the ramada do great food. Stay away from Ramore...terrible.
I hope to be back. Until then, I will dream of the porridge!

Room Tip: The rooms are paper thin here, so try one on the upper floors for some quiet.

Beulah's was sparkling clean and lovely, with a bay window overlooking the town. Our hostess was friendly, and presented us with an amazing array of choices for breakfast in the morning. I missed a walk to the beach in the evening because I was too tired, but my husband enjoyed seeing the ocean right near the town, and also played 9 holes of golf before dinner (within walking distance of Beulah's).

Rachel was a very good hostess. Everything was great. The food was good and rooms were clean. The rooms were a little small but that is to be expected. Had yogurt, cereals, and fruit choices for breakfast in addition to hot breakfast choices. Located near the ocean, probably a block away. Easy access to pubs and restaurants. Kiwi's across the street is a nice pub and 55 North has great food as well. We booked through a package deal so we used our travel coupons for payment. Parking is difficult and hard to find. Make sure you have a small car if you try to park in back of B&B.

Rachel and Jimmie were the ABSOLUTELY LOVELY hosts of this LOVELY B and B! My friend and I were given a lot of TERRIFIC advise about where to go, and where to eat for dinner! Would ABSOLUTELY STAY HERE AGAIN if I come back! Thanks for everything!

Room Tip: Make sure the rooms are en-suite. Very helpful!

Room 12 overlooks the Atlantic - fantastic room and view! The innkeepers, Jimmie and Rachel were delightful - Rachel is very outgoing and makes you feel like you've known her for years. Jimmie is quieter but he is the cook! Best breakfast - fresh seasonal fruit, delicious made to order eggs - everything was outstanding. The location is superb. You can park the car behind the B&B and walk the town. Royal Portrush Golf Course is less that a mile away and Gramme McDowell home course the Rathmore is next door. Everyone is delightful. Rachel recommended the Harbour Bar for dinner. Food was exceptional but the people were even better. It's a local bar with lots of friendly people and great stories. We'll go back to Portrush again and spend more time in this wonderful Irish town!

We received an warm welcome at Beulah Guest House from Rachel and Jimmie. Rachel was prompt and courteous in replying to my booking. Their website is terrific, and their directions to their parking lot are good - which is very important as Portrush is a crowded, busy place. The location of the guest house in the center of Portrush is very convenient. Our room at the top of the house was spotless, The breakfast room is a cheerful room and the breakfasts were excellent with many choices provided. Thank you both for a very enjoyable stay.

Our two nights in Portrush were made much nicer by the friendly and helpful people at Beulah Guest House. It is close to everything and a trip out the front door affords you a breathtaking view of the ocean and a wonderful place to eat! Breakfast was served hot and to order in a very clean and well set dining room. The golf course is just down the street. Free parking in the rear was nice and close. Really recommend this clean clean place.

Room Tip: If you are driving ask for a parking map before you leave home!
