“An unexpected gem”

While last minute searching for a place to stay, we happened unexpectedly upon Antrim House Bed & Breakfast. Were we ever happy we did! Excellent greeting, more than reasonable price, especially considering the great breakfast we were served. As a family of 4 (4 adults), the total price was almost worth the breakfast alone. The room was large and very accommodating for our family. The en suite facilities clean, well equipped and functional. The view was lovely, and the location great! If we are ever fortunate enough to make our way back to Port Rush, I won't even look elsewhere.

Room Tip: Only wish I had known there were shutters on the inside of the windows!

Although our stay was short I was very impressed with Antrim House. A beautiful Victorian building which retains the period features of high ceilings and fireplaces that gives you that warm feeling. On the other hand the bathrooms are fully modernised and brought right up to date. My family had 2 rooms both large and spacious with beautiful views overlooking the seafront. The host family were friendly and extremly helpful in recommending local restaurants. The Jackman Pye just down the road was great if you want to catch locally caught fish. A great trip.

We recently completed our Ireland adventure and found the Antrim House an amazing and lovely place to stay. Our traveling party included two good friends and our mothers. The accommodations were exactly what we needed. The room our moms stayed in was very spacious. They were able to stretch their legs and relax with cup of tea after a long day exploring the Causeway and the Carrick Rope bridge.
Everyone needs to meet Janice and her staff. They are just about the nicest people you will ever meet. Our breakfast was delicious and got us ready for another day of exploring Ireland.
The location is perfect for exploring Portrush and there is ample parking for vehicles. We wish we could have stayed longer!!!! A big thank you to Janice and the staff for a WONDERFUL experience!

Everything you could ask for in a B&B we had a large room with a huge bathroom and great views. We didn't mention gluten free in advance but they had cornflakes and bread in. I can't recommend it enough.

While we have not stayed in allot of B&B's around the country, we were quite surprised at the size of our family room. Very clean and modern suite. The bathroom and shower was quite spacious as well. Only request would be to have a larger sign outside.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the harbor and ocean. I would highly recommend.

We were over to visit my husbands' family and were looking for somewhere to stay. What a lovely, lovely place! Janice is just the nicest person - she even got up and made us packed breakfast because we had to leave early in the morning to catch our flight. Antrim House is exceptionally clean, spacious, perfectly located, and the breakfast - WOW!! I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to stay in Northern Ireland - and lets face it, why wouldn't you!!
