“Interesting and informative”

This castle on the very edge of the cliff is a wonderful location. There is an interesting video and audio guide to make the historical info very interesting. Well worth the visit.

“It is what it is ! What you see is what you get”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Dunluce Castle is another one of those "Places to Visit" on the fabulous Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland. Due to its location, it might not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties but is best viewed in dry, sunny, weather.
There is limited parking at the Castle but no charge for Parking...There is a pretty little shop/cafe adjacent to the car park (see photo) with outdoor seating. The Castle itself is open under the auspices of the National Trust so there is a charge for entry.
Once inside the castle grounds there is a small Visitors Centre with all the usual Audio Visual aids and models of how the castle originally looked. Audio Descriptive handsets can be hired for a nominal fee, although I must admit that I prefer to "Do it myself" so to speak, and so did not bother with that option.
It is very worthwhile taking a camera (or camera phone) with you when visiting this attraction as there are some stunning photo opportunities.
Like all attractions of this sort, it is very very "Weather Dependent" and is not the sort of place to visit in inclement weather.
Quite recently this attraction played host to a concert by Belfast and The Worlds, "Van the Man" Van Morrison and was spectacularly lit up at night, and proved to be a fantastic success...so much so that I think there could be "more of the same"...we will just have to wait and see.

“Amazing castle, a must see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013 via mobile

What a fantastic castle. Still standing after 400+ years. We took the audio descriptive tour with 2 kids. Spent about an hour walking and looking at the castle. Included was treasure hung for kids. I feel £13 for a family of 4 is a bit expensive as you don't really get anything but the sights the scenery etc are so breathtaking I can almost forgive it ( my husbsnd cannot tho)
Could have easily spent 2 hours here but kids were bored once treasure hunt done.
For those who love old stories buildings castles its incredible. If you don't like this kind of stuff the views are pretty impressive.
