“great stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

We booked a weekend break with one evening meal included at a good rate. The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (and lovely and warm in cold February in Northern Ireland). The food was cooked and presented to a high standard. We have stayed before and will return again. Also the views at the rooms to the front of the hotel are wonderful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hotel for views of the Atlantic Ocean

We stayed at this hotel from the 16th of feb until the 18th. i'll get the negitives out of the way, 16 parking spaces for a hotel with 300 rooms was surprising. took 15 minutes to find the hotel as i was looking for the hotel thats pictured with this isnt. apart from that staff were very friendly and helpful we had breakfast and one luch in the hotel and the food was great. location is perfect and the rooms where spotless and larger than average. i would recommend this hotel to anyone. thanks Ramanda for a pleseant few days.

Room Tip: Pizzeria on the harbour is great, packed with about 45 minute wait but worth it.

This is a lovely hotel and our first time staying here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern and tidy and centrally located in Portrush. Our room had two double sized beds and a standard bathroom and both were very clean and tidy. The power shower was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent run as a buffet with everything one could possibly want. Although we didn't have the opportunity to use the hotel's dining room in the evening, from talking to other guests I believe the food is excellent and will certainly be intending to dine here on our next visit.

Only negative is charging £10 for wi-fi access. Seems really mean to me (we didn't purchase it as we were only staying two days) and it sends out the wrong signal for what was a lovely experience for us and may put people off staying here which would be a shame.

Room Tip: Sea view is recommended

Stayed one night for a celebration, we booked 4 rooms and all on same floor which was good.
Receptionist (with the lovely big hair) was terrific, and lovely even on checkout! Room was at front overlooking the sea which was rough but beautiful. Went on Friday to Ramore restaurant on the harbour, fantastic. Breakfast was good choice of Ulster Fry or healthy stuff!! I went for Ulster Fry which I havent had for ages and can recommend it to start the day. Needed it to walk along beach. Room was good unfortunetly it had an adjoining door which we didnt need and the guests there had friends in till after 2.30am but they were with our party so didnt mind too much. Bed was so comfy and clean I slept all night. Thank you I will use your hotel again.

Room Tip: Car park behind is very small but during winter you can park outside in front of hotel all night fre...

Delighted you enjoyed your celebration with your friends. Thank you for your kind comments about our staff. The Atlantic Ocean can be very rough and I agree with you very beautiful. Our Ulster Fry does set you up for that walk along the beach. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Ramada Portrush.

I have recently started to frequent the Ramada in Portrush. Their restaurant is open to the public. I like it and I think you will too. The place is spotless, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the food is excellent. I highly recommend the Chilly wrap with garlic sauce it is quite literally the best thing I have ever tasted

Room Tip: I didn’t stay over so I can’t review the rooms

Best hotel in the Portrush area have stayed in most. The reception staff are very friendly and are always willing to help. We prefere to eat out in the evening at the near by Ramore Wine Bar 150 yards away at the harbour. The food is great and reasonably priced there is a great buzz their with a trendy crowd, sometimes when it is busy you could wait for over an hour until your name is called. The hotel bedrooms are big and very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast is very good also and you are served quickly.

Room Tip: ask for 1st or 2nd floor rooms are bigger
