After spending a few days here in July last year we thought we would return for a full week. Again the quality of the hire vans is first class. Everything you need is there, just turn up with your clothes and a few extra towels and you are sorted.

We stayed this time in a van right beside the perimeter fences right beside the main road and it prooved very noisy with boy racers speeding up the main road towards the country at 1am, so perhaps if you have small kids you may wish to get a van more in the middle of the site.

Portrush is a great spot and once the crowds left on Easter Tuesday the rest of the week was much quieter to just amble about.

The weather was clear and sunny but very very cold, the heating in the caravans is excellent and all kids were warm as toast. The shower is excellent too especially with us being at the beach most days and getting four of us showered twice a day was no bother at all.

We had a few leaks and issues with the plumbing (start of the season, it happens) and it was dealt with quickly and efficiently by the site staff.

Generally a first class site, with good staff who deal with any issues but the play park area isnt great for small kids, more of a place for older kids to hang out and play football.

All in all, we again had a great stay and will be back again :)

Hirevans are of excellent standard, very clean and modern. Bedlinen & towels pristine condition.
Even kitchen washing up linen, dish cloth, pot scrubber which was a nice touch as was the complimentary mini bottles of shampoo & shower gel in the bathroom.
Only complaint I had was the noisy kids that parents tell to go out to play and they play & scream & play endless ball games in front of other peoples vans. Parents of course are not interested in anyone else's holiday experience. Site would benefit from a better shop and maybe a playpark to
get the kids out of van access areas.

Room Tip: Request a quiet location if its important to you, dont assume any privacy, even after dark!

The site was lovely.
First time staying on it and ill defo be back.
Site staff all friendly and helpfull.
Facilities were clean and well stocked.
Only downside was the pitches I dont think I found one that was level for a touring van but easily corrected with blocks and ramps.
Lovely grounds to walk the dog round.
10 min drive from town prob 20 mins walk.
Clise by to petrol station and lidl at end of road.
Shop on site was well stocked and cafe semd to have plenty of customers.
I definitely will return to the site again.

I visit this location on a regular basis with my touring van. The Toilet block isn't great when the park is packed, it's far too small and wasn't thought out correctly with tourers and campers in mind. The park is spotlessly clean and well maintained and there is a shop, restaurant, and play park on site. The park could be closer and isn't ideally situated for everyone on site but it's not a bad park for children to play in, younger children couldn't go on their own due to where it is situated. There wigwams and dome tents for hire and static vans for hire. All in all with easy access to portrush town and the beach it's a great location for a wee break.

Room Tip: Pick a spot lower on the site as most pitches are badly off for levelling your van

Stayed here 3 days in a static near the end of aug 12

The caravan itself was brilliant, new, modern with everything you could of needed but most importantly very very clean!

We took all our own bedding but didn't need it.
Small toilet on its own then another with the shower which was really good.
Well appointed kitchen with all the utilities you would want or need

We tried the cafe one evening for dinner after reading a few reviews but we were a bit disappointed, the chippy nearby would of been nicer to be honest.

But as a base for getting out and around the area and the accommodation we stayed in it was top notch and we'll definetly return (maybe not to the cafe lol)
