We went here twice, the main restaurant on the 2nd of March and the Bistro for breakfast on the 3rd. Excellent food and service in the restaurant, with a stunning view out to sea. I started with a delicious fishcake while my wife had the home made red pepper and tomato soup. Absolutely delicious. I had the chilli chicken and pasta for main course ( a massive bowl full and delicious with it), my wife had the ribeye steak. Both dishes were excellent with my wife's steak cooked to perfection and accompanied with an absolutely delicious pepper sauce, and chunky hand cut chips. They do a three courses for £10 menu which is excellent value, although for certain premium dishes like the ribeye, you pay up to £5 more, but no matter as it's excellent value. The desserts looked wonderful, but we just had no room left to squeeze any more in. The drinks, particularly the wine, are excellent value compared to the London prices we are used to paying.
The bistro is below the main restaurant, again with a brilliant view. We each had a breakfast bap in here, i opted for the bacon and egg bap, my wife for the sausage bap. The baps are homemade and very light and tasty. My wife opted for a coffee and the very nice Eastern European girl serving came over to check all was ok, and also pointed out that they had just changed the brand of coffee they were using and wanted some customer feedback on it. Very pleasant member of staff indeed.
Can't wait to get back to Portrush and eat in both establishments again, a MUST if you are visiting the area.
