The argory hands down is my favourite place on the face of the planet. Since going here as a child until now I love it more and more each time i go.

“Delightful house and grounds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

Visited The Argory and I must say it was an enjoyable experience, the house tour was interesting and informative. The grounds were lovely especially when the sun came out!! I would have to say the signposts to the different walks were slightly pussling but none the less was very picturest. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the only slight downside was the limited menu or lack of in the cafe even at the period of early lunch time. However this did not spoil a wonderful visit to one of Ulster's hidden National Trust gems.

“Lovely Grounds, Great Place for a Country Walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

The house itself is very pretty - the story of the family who lived here is also really interesting. We most enjoyed though the grounds. The location is beautiful - the house sits atop a small hill overlooking a winding stretch of the River Blackwater. We followed the circular trail - it was lovely. It takes you down past the river, across some lovely countryside and back through the wooded estate. There is an excellent tearoom and quite an interesting display in the courtyard area. Look out for the Lime trees - they are impressive. If you have children, the adventure playground is also a good place for them to let off steam for half an hour. This is a great place to spend a pleasant Sunday afternoon in summer.

“The most beautiful place ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

A tour of the house is a MUSt - lovely story of the family who you think have just gone out for the afternoon. Excellent tour guides and lovely grounds to walk around.

“Many Beautiful Paths and Walks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2012

You can tell this place has been around a long time as the mature tree lined walks are gorgeous, can be busy in the summer but when it is quiet, you cannot hear a sound and could be anywhere in the world.
