“Brilliant Free Day Out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012

Dryslwyn has beautiful views and is a brilliant walk for the family. It has a large picnic area and free parking. Kids love it, dog loves it, I love it... As long as you have nice weather.

No toilets or bins so be prepared, but as a picnic and walk spot I totally recommend.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2012

Fantastic old castle. A steep climb and lots of sheep dung but the view from the top is breathtaking.

“A little gem, worth the climb to the top!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

A beautiful ruin, in the most wonderful setting. It's free and unrestricted to wander around but someone has still taken the time to provide plenty of information and history.
The short walk from the car park down to the river below is also highly recommended.

“Marvelous”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

High at the top of the castle to the south you can see the Towy valley meander towards Carmarthen, to the north you see Llandilo. the Towy valley in all its glory.

Below in the car park there are tables for picnics along side the river.Places for children to play etc.

Walking distance is a quaint pub that will serve all your needs

“White Cattle”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2012

I felt on a damp and wet day there wasn't much to see unlike other NT properties. Cattle nice to view but more information would have been appreciated
