We ate in the restaurant as we didn't know Skipton at all and were just staying the one night.
My starter was spicy fillet of beef - really nice, with VERY HOT horseradish accompaniment. My wife had the prawn and crayfish salad. Both excellent. I had a reasonably priced bottle of Malbec, and pan fried sea bass fillet for main, beautifully cooked. My wife had goat's cheese tart - not as imprssive, probably neede dlonger in the oven. We both went for trio of crème brulée. Divine, absolutely gorgeous.
Staff were fine and the décor is lovely, high ceilings and nice wallpaper and antique mirrors.
Unfortunately we live 30 miles away, otherwise this would become a regular event
