“Expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

called in one luch time and although the food was ok, the price was over the top. We visited the farm shop to buy some pastries which were burnt. If i had cooked them eithere the tin or birds would have had them

“Microwaved scones”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Been several times & food good. However this time ordered cream tea, scones came soggy & soft as they had been microwaved . I returned them asking for cold scones as we did not like them soft & was informed, we can't do that as they are frozen & we have to microwave them to defrost!!!!
Please, please don't bother selling scones if they are frozen, however we were offered alternative cake & the staff were polite & apologised.

“A let down”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

First impressions are good we arrive but things change once we sample the food at the cafe. We found a table easily but there was quite a large que at the till where you order. Spent 10 minutes in the que before ordering. Myself and my wife had a bacon and Brie sandwich with a slice of cake and two drinks, total price £23!! I was expecting a lot considering the price but was disappointed with the limp salad and cold bacon and Brie sandwich on cheap bread which arrived. It has got it's good points away from the cafe, the butcher sells great fresh produce and there is plenty of space for the children to run around and play with toy tractors. I will not be eatin here again though and defiantly wouldn't recommend.

“The Crocodiles at Johnston's (Crocodile Farm) !!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

I go to this place a few times a year, and usually when I have visitors, so they can experience seeing Nile Crocodiles up close!! They also have here at this place ostrichs and other exotic animals, as well as foul....they have a tea room and a lovely farm shops which sells an amazing array of interesting tasty bits and bobs....but its the crocodiles that bring me to this place.

Great country atmosphere. Friendly staff. Down to earth owner. It has everything to see from live alligators gift shop and great butcher.
