This is really a restaurant with rooms!
Our room was slightly on the small side but clean and the bed was comfortable.
The food however was outstanding. There was a good range of different price menus and we were tempted by the lamb main course.
Our amuse-bouche was a small glass of juice of black tomatoes with balsamic vinegar-very nice!
This was followed by sauteed scallops on Brioche toast. After a Trou Normand, we had the carre d'agneau, a generous chunk of meat cooked to perfection. The cheese board was mainly from Normandy and "bien affiné."
The desserts not only pleased the eye but were also delicious.
All though the meal we were too much tempted by the crispy crusted home-made bread, with the Isigny butter.
The wine list had bottles to appeal to most pockets and tastes. We look forward to our next visit!
