Brought the kids n queen in for some nosebag and have to say it was grand. The spuds on da soide were unpeeled but no panic. Not sure if they were baked or not. Anyhow, You wouldnt think from the foot path that Bracken's did the old scran but ya know what, they do and its fine.
Easy on the wallet too. Staff popping over to make sure all is in order and making sure the kids had enough red lemonade and me with a nice pint facing me.
Its a pub by design and the seats dont lend themselves to typical family assembly and there may be a codger at the bar wishing you would hurry up and take your devils with ya as the clinking of plates is interferin' with his afternoon sojourn. But the pubs nowadays have to supplement themselves just like you supplement a meadow with nitrates to promote growth.
In closing I have no difficulty recommending this saloon.
