The Plantation House Restaurant is situated with a country club. The location has a wonderful view of the mountain. At arrival, we did not have a reservation, and the host kindly told us that they do not have an availability at the dining room, however, he tried to find an open spot on the balcony by the bar - no luck with that either so ended up sitting at the bar. Pat, the bar tender was very nice and checked up on us quite frequently even though she was swamped.
Food was so-so. I ordered the Diane's pastat w/shrimp, while my wife ordered the Mediterranian Special. The tomatoes in my pasta was in big chuncks. Usually, one can't go wrong with a pasta dish - and there's nothing wrong with this one - it's just I've had better pasta for a lot less.
Overall, it's a nice restaurant - great location - but the food is average.
