“Superb”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

We ate here 3 times on our trip. The view from the restaurant of the Pacific and Molokai was spectacular. The service was wonderful and the food was wonderful also. Couldn't recommend this place more highly. We also ate at the Lahaina Grill, which was terrific, but we felt this was just as good and a bit more reasonably priced. Don't miss this restaurant.

“Great View - Food Was Average”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

We visited the Plantation House for breakfast. The view was quite nice; the food good, but not that great, Food presentation was excellent, the service satisfactory, but the food itself was nothing to brag about. I've had many, many better breakfasts. Probably worth a visit to see the site, but the grounds, and the restrooms, could stand better care and upkeep.

“A great place for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

Without the view this would still be a first class restaurant but the view of the golf course running down the foothills to Kapalua bay with the heavily landscaped Ritz Carlton to the left and cloud enshrouded Molokai island to the right comes free with every meal. Lunch items tend to be small with quality ingredients and artistic presentation and priced accordingly. Service is very good.

“Stunning view overlooking the golf course and ocean.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. The caesar salad with chicken was excellent as was the cheeseburger. The ambience is relaxed country club with the most amazing views. The menu choices are very good and the prices reasonable for lunch.

“Great views, stellar service, wonderful new menus!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

We always eat here at least once a year when we're on the island. For the last ten years we've never had a bad experience here, so am surprised at some of the nasty reviews.

We ate here at lunch. The weather cooperated and the views, once again were spectacular. Love watching the golfers and gazing at Kapalua bay, Molokai and Lanai.

Had to laugh about a recent TA review speaking of the "shabby" interior of the restaurant...
The restaurant had a fire back in April and has recently reopened. They completely renovated the interior of the restaurant and redid the bar area. New artwork has been added. All new. "Shabby"? Don't think so, lol...

Also, the chef has redone the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, so you'll see many different items.

So, let's begin;

I had the Ahi Wontons (a new item) ($17).
Pricey? Yes.
Worth it?
OH YESSSSSSSS!!!
Well balanced layers of flavors that were just incredible if you're into lightly seared ahi.
If you're not a raw fish person, they will cook it to your liking, so no worries.

My wife decided to do breakfast for lunch and got the pancake breakfast with added strawberries and pineapple. It came with crispy bacon (cooked to order...we like it crispy) and scrambled eggs. Nice fluffy pancakes and great maple syrup. ($17)

My main course was the Caprese Mahimahi fish sandwich which I added crispy bacon to ($20).
Awesome! Fish was flakey and succulent and cooked perfectly and loved the crunchy bacon texture contrast!

Service was very attentive without being overbearing. Our drinks were watched and were attended to promptly, finished dishes were promptly cleared away, and we were checked on to see if our orders were satisfactory;
all qualities of a great restaurant.

Highly recommend. We usually go at lunch because of the views, but have been there at dinner. Haven't done that in a while, but will in the near future.

Stay hungry, my friends!
Until the next review...
