Mahiyanganaya is small town of Buddhist importance and this hotel is typically meant for pilgrims. Business visitors are probably rare here and I was one such traveller. The hotel is generally good, rooms (only 8) have aircon and are spacious, and the restaurant is good too. The toilet can be better maintained. They also have a small swimming pool. This must be the only place in town with a good restaurant, so the restaurant was always full. The staff is friendly. The hotel provides complimentary internet connection in the sense that a guest has to take his/her laptop to the hotel office and they will connect it with a RJ-45 cable dislodging it from their computer, so one guest at a time can be helped. The interior of the hotel is indeed beautiful and well maintained. There is a prevalence of mosquitoes - they provide chemical repellants as well as a net.
