“Nice place to visit for a quick brunch/ lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Nice cheap food, quick service, simple seating arrangements, nice to pop in for a cup of tea and a sarnie when you're shopping in Truro. The portion sizes are good.

“£1.90 extra for a plate and a knife & fork”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

We decided to eat here as there was the option to eat in, and sit down. After purchasing our pasties, and not being asked whether we wanted to eat In or take away, we preceded to the seating area, assuming this was correct. A staff member quizzed us about our presence in the seating area, and whether we had paid extra to eat in. As we hadn't, we were charged £1.90 more, and the pasty was slid from the bag, onto a plate. It was then brought to us with a knife and fork.

The staff member spoke to me as if I was stupid for not paying extra without being asked.

The food was average, and the entire experience was blighted by lack of information to the customer.
