“Great Place to eat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

Found this place on Tripadvisor and was very impressed. It is a little bit out of the way but only minutes away from the Cathedral. Food was very good and well presented - we had the pulled pork and the jerk chicken with chips. Very friendly service despite some of the technical problems they were experiencing in the kitchen at the time! Very reasonably priced and well worth a visit if you happen to be in the area

“just as good as they say”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Due to the reviews here, we stopped by for a quick lunch after a morning walk around Truro. As others have written, It's a bit out of the way on a side street but worth spending the time to find and not far at all from the cathedral.

The atmosphere was very casual and cozy, and the servers were very friendly, the homemade beetroot soup as well as our sandwich and salad were delicious and very reasonably priced, the and the beer recommendations - Bullhorn Black Lager and Betty Stogs - gave a taste of the area and a buzz for our walk to the train station.

We appreciate the cafe's emphasis on organic ingredients and can confirm the other positive reviews here. On a return trip to Truro we'd stop by the Lemon Tree again.

“fabulous find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

Visited three times for brunch in 5 days, variety of dishes offered is excellent - smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on bagels, traditional breakfast, and cranberry brie and rocket sandwich served with home made coleslaw and salad - couldn't fault it. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed - made a pleasant change from all the 'chains' which infiltrate our towns and cities - next time we are in Truro it will be our first port of call.

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

Went here following Tripadvisor reviews on a wet Thursday, squeezed in! Interesting lunch menu, as we were quite late many of the specials had sold out, however the menu was still appetizing. Great vegetarian choices (I'm not vegetarian), struggled to decide what to have!
We were forewarned that there would be a delay. There was, but the food is freshly cooked, very well presented and very good indeed.
As said by others a hidden gem that really is well worth visiting if you're in Truro.

“Fantastic food, great service, a must visit in Truro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

The selection of food was fantastic, everything cooked fresh to order. In fact the hardest part of our visit to this wonderful cafe was deciding what to choose from the amazing menu. The service was brilliant, the lady who served us was just delightful. If you go to Truro it's a must visit!
