“Excellent food and a great atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Food always good quality and freshly cooked. Atmosphere relaxed yet lively. Service is friendly and very good. The menu choice is great. Overall Gravy takes some beating as providing an all round good experience for a great night out. Andrew is always friendly and a fantastic front of house person.

“Good food. No atmosphere”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

Was really excited about my visit bu the host made several school boy errors which resulted in a bad atmosphere.

The food was ok although the lamb starter was sparce.

This was meant to be the no 1 venue in Truro but I can think of better.

Would probably be suited to a couple rather than a group.

“Amazing Food Amazing Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

We had our works Christmas party on Saturday 15th December 2012, I cannot commend the staff and food enough, warm welcome as soon as we walked in the door and attentive staff throughout. The timing of courses perfect and despite being full with 3 separate parties the evening flowed without a hitch. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed the selections they had made from the menu and a good selection of drinks and wines was available.

“Number 1 in Truro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012 via mobile

Head of this place from a few locals. Apparently can be difficult to book. The restaurant is in what seems a residential street in town. Very minimalist but warm feel to it. Tables well spaced out probably seats about 30. To the food, absolutely superb, i had lamb as a starter, as never had this. It was cooked perfectly, only criticism was tat he sauce was very very sweet. Almost jam like. The turbot as a main was wow, the best turbot I have eaten. Cooked perfectly and of a very high quality. Cheese board was superb. There were 14 of us who had ordered various dishes all of which were loved. Good wine at reasonable prices and good service. The other two restaurants in the price range are probably mannings and bustophers, but this place easily beat them. Can't wait to visit again.
