We stayed from 3rd March for one week
Although we had a brilliant Holiday, all of our party (4) suffered to varying degrees with sickness and diarrhoea,(from general discomfort to missing up to 2 days of the holiday). Talking to other guests it appears that other people had also suffered in this way.
Many other references in this respect have been posted this year on Trip advisor and this together with the health warning posted on the hotel notice board, leads us to conclude that the hotel DOES have a problem in this respect that needs addressing.
All the food looked appetizing, tasted good and was well presented and we really wanted to discount the previous "Trip Advisor" comments in this respect as insignificant, however our experiences do not allow this.
The sickness problems are the only negative of our stay, however this is also the ONE thing that would deter us from re-booking again at the hotel.
On a positive note the hotel was very comforable, the staff were brilliant and the location and views are fantastic.
We did not experience any other of the problems experience by other guests and our experiences in respect of these is detailed below.
The transfer of luggage from coach to the hotel was brilliant with Crystal and hotel staff working like trojans.
We had no problem with any noise from the hotel lift.
The rooms are comforable, clean and of adiquate size for two people.
The boot room would have been better if larger but was OK, perhaps a number coded lock on the doors would have improved security?
The ski hire shop being within the hotel saved the usual stampede for equipment at the start or the week and the staff were really helpful.
On the whole we had a fantastic holiday and hope that the hotel can sort out the sickness problems in order that we can re-book with confidence
